PayPal Upgrades Service Around The Globe

PayPal today announced system-wide upgrades to make it even easier for customers around the world to send and receive money online. It launched improved content for customers in 173 countries and fully localised sites in Mexico, Hong Kong and Singapore. PayPal also launched nine new languages on its website including Bahasa Indonesian, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Danish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, and Turkish.

Currently, PayPal delivers tailored content to its customers in 173 countries and has introduced new PayPal domains for Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Luxembourg, Portugal, Sweden, Venezuela and more. Customers who use PayPal in these countries will be directed to a website that displays relevant, customised PayPal information and products available in that country.

According to Philipp Justus, PayPal’s senior vice president of global markets, PayPal is committed to support the phenomenal rise of online payments around the globe - from Indonesia to Sweden.

"With these new websites, languages and enhancements, we're making it even easier and more convenient to use PayPal wherever our customers may be," said Justus.
